This was the first music video I ever shot and edited—for my band, Freaky Things, where I play guitar. I wanted to experiment with a fast-paced, attention-grabbing edit style, mixing quick cuts and lo-fi effects to echo the jittery energy of old ‘80s music videos. The black-and-white zombie footage added the perfect dose of surreal nostalgia to match the band’s weird and wired vibe.
